Values of Meekness

Being Zion

It has long been the stock answer that to be meek, is to be teachable. While this certainly is a true answer, it is far from accurate. Meekness is, decidedly, a much wider and deeper subject.

Evidence

Being Zion

The Lord didn't expect the Nephites at Bountiful to just believe His word, even after an impressive entrance. He brought proof. Evidence. He was the evidence. He not only took the abuse of men and death, but relived it for His children to understand.

Traditions of Our Fathers Pt 1

Being Zion

For some time I have pondered and discussed with friends the idea of what Zion might be like from a logistical perspective. The origin of the thought was Denver Snuffer's delightful talk I simply call, Zion. He presented it at the Zion Symposium, at the Provo, UT Marriott on 2/23/2008. I've been ruminating on the subject ever since and this essay is the result. It meanders a bit but I hope you'll enjoy the ride!
